Night At The Museum: Who is Sebastian Yatra?

Sebastian was born in Medellin, Colombia, and moved to Miami when he was 5 years old. He learned to speak English fluently and grew up singing. Growing up he studied piano and guitar and was an enthusiastic footballer before deciding to pursue music as a profession. He began composing in 2013, he has now collaborated with the Jonas Brothers and performed with Halsey at the Latin Grammys last year.

His single “Traicionera” earned him numerous awards, including a HEAT Latin Music Award and a Shock Award along with other award nominations. Sebastian used to be in a relationship with Tini Stoessel. It was obvious after she appeared in Sebastian’s music video for his single, “Christina,” that the couple were an item. In June 2019, Sebastian and Tini made it Instagram official, when Sebastian shared a photo of the couple kissing with the caption, “Cada vez mas [amor] meaning “every time more love”.

However the couple called it quits, Sebastian and the Argentine pop star made the announcement to fans on May 16th on their Twitter accounts, expressing that they had decided to end their relationship.
