Rafael Alexandre da Conceiço Leo (born 10 June 1999) is a Portuguese professional footballer who currently plays for Serie A club AC Milan as well as the Portugal national team. After graduating from Sporting CP’s development system, Leo made his first-team debut in 2018, winning the 2017-18 Taça da Liga before canceling his contract voluntarily due to an issue within the club. Shortly after, he signed on a free transfer with Ligue 1 club Lille. AC Milan signed him for a rumored cost of €35 million in 2019. He helped the club win the 2021-22 Serie A in his third season, ending the club’s 11-year league title drought. He was also named Serie A’s Most Valuable Player and was named to the Ballon d’Or shortlist of 30 players.

Leo is a former Portugal youth international who represented his country at several juvenile levels, including being a member of the under-17 team that won the European Championship in 2016. In 2021, he made his senior international debut.
